    Rosa Ross is the owner and chef of Scrimshaw the waterside restaurant, which located at the end of the North Fork, in the seaside town of Greenport. For more information about Scrimshaw, please visit scrimshawrestaurant.com.

   Although Rosa has permanently settled on the North Fork, she has consulted on several restaurants which feature Asian cooking, most recently Ginger in New York City. Also, before making her getaway from city-life and opening Scrimshaw, she was the opening chef at the trendsetting meat market restaurant Oriont, which is now unfortunately closed. Her food has received favorable comments from leading critics such as Gael Greene, Florence Fabricant and Sam Sifton.
